Chad Gammad: The Calm Before the Buckets
He’s cool, collected, and built for the moment. Chad Gammad, the first-year combo guard from Cabagan, Isabela, is one of the newest faces in the Letran Knights lineup, and he’s already turning heads for how easily he blends poise with promise.
Before the noise of the crowd and the rush of the game, you’ll find Chad still, focused, and meditating. It’s a small ritual that keeps him grounded before he locks in.
“Just being able to perform at the collegiate level,” Chad says, “is already my proudest moment.”
For Chad, basketball began at home, introduced by his dad, nurtured through faith, and shaped by countless hours chasing a dream that’s now becoming reality.
Off the court, the Fil-Canadian guard’s calm energy carries over to his style and personality: quiet confidence, soft smiles (those dimples get a lot of attention), and a touch of sincerity that feels rare.
Chad may be young, but he plays — and carries himself — like someone with perspective.
