AeronnShikii: ‘Just Trust Me. Trust Our Team’
AeronnShikii steps into the room with the casual ease of someone who has learned that comfort doesn’t always come from surroundings, but from the people beside you. Team Liquid PH, a team revered as one of the world’s finest in Mobile Legends esports, is now his stage. And yet, he seems… chill. Nevermind that he replaced Oheb, a superstar in his own right.
“I’m very happy and very chill,” he says. “I don’t know why I’m very chill, maybe because we’re so close with each other.”
Close. Not distant. Not intimidated by the history that precedes the names on his roster. All of whom have accrued numerous titles and individual honors, all of whom have become FMVP across major tournaments. He’s playing with four GOATs: KarlTzy, Sanford, Sanji, and Jaypee.
But AeronnShikii doesn’t see GOATs.

“I don’t see them as GOATs, I see them as my friends,” he says, a conviction in his voice.
Replacing Oheb, one of the Philippines’ best gold laners, could feel like stepping into a shadow. But for AeronnShikii, it’s not about living up to a legend—it’s about proving to someone he respects that he belongs.
“I’m very close with Oheb and my team. I will just prove to Oheb that I can be a good gold laner like him.”
AeronnShikii: ‘I don’t feel alone.’

There is an unspoken tension in his next admission. Unlike Savero, another import, AeronnShikii’s teammates do not share his language. Bahasa is all he has. English? Tagalog? Not yet.
“Honestly, I speak Bahasa only. I cannot speak English, I cannot speak Tagalog, I can only speak Bahasa. But I don’t feel alone because my team is very open and welcoming to me. I don’t feel alone.”
The Philippines has proven it doesn’t need imports to win on the world stage. So does Aeronnshikii feel he belongs in PH?
For the past six world championships, the Philippines has proven it doesn’t need imports. This time around, Team Liquid PH has recruited Aeronnshikii, the country’s first import.
And when you replace someone like Oheb, the limelight burns hotter.
Yet AeronnShikii doesn’t flinch.

“I respect the high expectations of people, especially because I replaced Oheb,” he says.
“All I can say is just trust me, trust our team, and I can prove myself because I want to learn so hard.”
“Actually, I don’t feel anything about it because right now, I just want to prove myself and that I’m worthy to be here,” AeronnShikii told ALL-STAR.
And in the certainty of that statement, you see why he’s here, for the chance to earn his place among the friends he calls teammates—and maybe, in time, the GOATs he still refuses to label as such.
