MLBB Streamer Lumi Breaks Silence on Alleged Harassment by Pro Player

MLBB streamer and content creator Lumi has broken her silence on alleged harassment by an unnamed professional player, saying she fears for her safety in a TikTok video posted early Tuesday, October 20.

Lumi said she decided to speak publicly after keeping the matter to herself for some time, adding that she was seeking help because she no longer knew how else to address the situation.

“Hindi ko na kaya. I don’t know kung tama itong ginagawa ko. Pero, gusto ko lang malaman niyo na may nagbabanta sa akin na pro player. Kung ano man mangyari sa akin, kayo na ang bahala. Kaya humihingi ako ng tulong at ginagawa ko ‘tong video na ‘to. Hindi ako naniniwala na dapat manahimik lang ako,” Lumi said in her video statement.

Lumi did not name the player in her video statement.

According to Lumi, the pro player allegedly went to her residence at around 1 a.m. and remained there until almost 4 a.m., shouting accusations and making derogatory remarks about her.

She further alleged that the individual threw objects at her window and threatened to damage her reputation if she refused to come outside and speak with him.

“At itong pro player na ‘to, pinagbabato ‘yung bintana ko. At pinagbabantaan akong lumabas at kausapin siya, kung hindi sisiraan niya ako,” she said.

Lumi said the alleged incident left her frightened and reluctant to leave her home. She added that she had been taking action but could not think of other ways to address the situation, prompting her to seek help publicly.

She reiterated that her primary concern was her personal safety, regardless of the alleged relationship issue involving the player.

Lumi also alluded to a personal relationship issue, alleging that the player had been meeting with his former partner while courting her.

“Ang concern ko lang, kung kitain mo ‘yung ex mo, okay lang. Pero, huwag mo na akong sindakin o bantaan. Concern ko lang ‘yung safety ko kaya pinost ko ‘tong video na ‘to,” Lumi said.

In a separate post, Lumi also said that she had filed a police blotter report following the alleged incident. Further details regarding the status of any legal proceedings were not immediately available.
