Fantasy News 2: Trouble in Miami?
The Miami Heat’s Giannis gamble is off to a rocky start as they lose their first four games. What adjustments will Erik Spoelstra make to address the team’s issues?

The Miami Heat have a lot to figure out.
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s average 6 games into the season is as follows: 28.2 points per game, 12.3 rebounds per game, and 5.5 assists per game. These are insane 30 point double-double averages, yet why have they lost 4 straight?
Bam Adebayo is averaging 14.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game through 5 games. It is known that Bam is capable of producing more than this–he once scored 83 points in a game last season.
Is Bam the issue? Partly.
Bam and Giannis in the frontcourt is a defensive brick wall, and would be a nightmare for opposing offenses to play against. But offensively? Opposing teams would be more than happy to crowd the paint and leave Bam or Giannis outside for an open jumpshot.
And then there is the spacing issue.
Theoretically, the Heat have armed themselves with a bunch of snipers–Klay Thompson, Bobby Portis Jr., Andrew Wiggins, and Pelle Larsson–but it has not worked out yet. Opposing defenses are happily giving them the three ball.
A silver lining–the Heat have won their last 2 games against Atlanta and Indiana by making one key change–Bam has played a more active role offensively, as opposed to being a catch-and-shoot guy (which he’s definitely not) playing around Giannis. Bam has taken a more active role attacking the basket that puts more pressure on defenses.
Could this be the start of a win streak?
