EASL Announces ₱100,000 Half-Court Shot Challenge
Following the commencement of their 2024-25 season at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, the annual East Asia Super League (EASL) books a return flight to Manila this Wednesday, November 13, 2024. Pasig’s PhilSports Arena hosts the clash of champions, featuring the San Miguel Beermen and the Meralco Bolts, as they go head-to-head against their Taoyuan Pauian Pilots and Busan KCC EGIS counterparts.
Apart from the action scheduled on the floor, EASL announced the return of their Half-Court Shot Challenge, which provides six lucky contestants (three for each game) with a chance to claim ₱100,000 with a heave from behind the middle of the playing field. During their first visit to the Philippines, John Eduard Mendoza became a tenth of a million pesos richer with his successful conversion that erupted the arena.
