Nike’s design and development team shared their approach on Sneakers Showcase: the signature Cushlon 3.0 midsole paired with a forefoot Air Zoom unit brings back the coveted underfoot sensation Sabrina’s fans have loved since the first shoe. “We kept the support in the midfoot allowing your cables to cinch you down, lock you in,” explained the Nike team, while introducing a pleated mesh system that innovates midfoot lockdown without sacrificing lightness.

Sabrina emphasizes the importance of traction: “One of my favorite parts about it is the traction. Just understanding how important it is when you get on the court to feel like you’re connected to the court and your footwear plays a huge role in that.”

The outsole features concentric “S” patterns radiating outward, a fresh evolution from the herringbone of the previous models. These not only improve grip but also reduce weight and enhance flexibility — all while tying into the signature design story.
