CJ Amos Joins FEU Tamaraws, Eyes UAAP Impact

Filipino-Australian guard CJ Amos has committed to the FEU Tamaraws, making a calculated move ahead of UAAP Season 88. The 6’2” point/shooting guard chose Far Eastern University over De La Salle University and National University, citing the opportunity for immediate playing time as the deciding factor.

Amos, 18, recently suited up for DLSU in the 2025 Pinoyliga Next Man Cup alongside his brother Mason. While his stint with the Green Archers offered exposure and high-level competition, cracking their deep rotation would have been a challenge. A source close to the situation said Amos picked FEU because it gives him the best shot at seeing the floor right away.

The Tamaraws, now led by newly appointed head coach Sean Chambers, are in the midst of a rebuild. Chambers is known for his developmental mindset and willingness to invest in young talent.
