KQ Wins ROY But Eyes Remain On The BIG PRIZE

Kevin Quiambao (KQ), made headlines yesterday as he officially bagged the KBL Rookie of the Year (ROY) honors last night.

However, KQ is celebrating the career milestone for only a moment as he keeps his focus and energy on the bigger prize to be won.

Quiambao and his squad are still in the running for this season’s KBL Championship.

ALL-STAR asked if they are ramping up preparations as they head into the grueling post-season. His response was calm yet one that should give you a confidence boost if you are a fan of the Sono SkyGunners.

“We as a team, we’re just trying to enjoy this moment. Take this process day-by-day. But for me personally, there’s a quote I keep telling myself — Less is more.”

He goes on to explain that how this part of the season is about recovery — more particularly, how fast you can get to a fully recovered state to perform at the highest level.

“We’ll just prepare hard and prepare as smart as we can (to get the job done). he adds.”
