Video of Efi Baldwin Contains Allegations Against Tab Baldwin
A video shared online by New Zealand lawyer Tudor Clee and later reposted by journalist Giota Kalogirou contains a series of allegations by Efi Baldwin, the wife of longtime Ateneo coach Tab Baldwin.
ALL-STAR confirmed through Tudor Clee that he acts as legal counsel for Efi Baldwin, was present when the video was recorded, and posted the video in its entirety without edits.
In the video, Efi Baldwin says she has remained legally married to Baldwin since 2011 but left him in early 2020 with their children.
“I had to flee away from Tab for the sake of myself and my kids to keep us safe,” she said.
Efi also claimed she repeatedly raised concerns to Ateneo regarding Baldwin.
“At that time, I repeatedly told the Ateneo University that children are not safe around him and it was their duty to remove him,” she said. “I urged them to move him away from the campus, the university campus and they proceeded to launch a campaign of intimidation and silencing.”
Referring to Baldwin’s recent remarks, she added:
“I want to make sure he doesn’t represent me or my kids.”
She also referenced the recent deaths of Ateneo basketball players Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili.
“Rovelyn and Elias, the deaths of your kids were not only predictable but preventable. The bodies of your kids are still warm and he’s talking about moving on. That’s terrible. Please believe him.”
ALL-STAR has not independently verified the allegations made therein.
As of publication, neither Tab Baldwin nor Ateneo de Manila University has publicly responded to the allegations contained in the video.
