NAVI PH Reaches MWI 2026 Semifinals After Sweeping Team Rey Young

NAVI PH remained in the hunt for the 2026 MLBB Women’s Invitational (MWI) championship after completing a 2-0 sweep of Malaysia’s Team Rey Young in the Knockout Stage quarterfinals to secure a spot in the semifinals at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in Paris, France.

The Filipinas are now one step closer to completing their redemption story, needing just one more win to send the Philippines back to the MWI Grand Finals for the first time since 2024.

In Game 1, NAVI PH overwhelmed Team Rey Young early, building a perfect 5-0 kill lead until Gwyneth “Ayanami” Diagon’s Cici was taken down in the six-minute bottom lane skirmish.

Both teams fought toe-to-toe in a 7-minute skirmish in the top lane, but NAVI came out ahead with a favorable 3-for-2 trade, led by Mery “Meraay” Vivero’s Akai Heavy Spin setup.

Lhoureain “Rianne” Alcaraz’s Claude fired away with a 14-minute triple kill in the mid-lane jungle area, helping NAVI PH secure the lord objective without any trouble.

NAVI PH successfully closed out the 24-minute game after Meraay’s Akai delivered another crucial Heavy Spin setup, isolating Mikuu’s Lylia and Quinn’s Hanabi from defending their base crystal.

Game 2 saw NAVI take control of the early game once again, applying pressure on Team Rey, securing turtle objectives, establishing map control, and building a 8-1 kill lead past the 11-minute mark.

NAVI finally put the nail in the coffin against Team Rey Young as Rianne’s Harith continued applying pressure during the 15-minute base siege. With three of her teammates locked onto the base crystal, Rianne helped secure the 2-0 sweep with a standout 5-0-6 KDA performance.

NAVI PH’s MWI 2026 campaign continues with a rematch against Cambodia’s Galaxy Phoenix in the best-of-five semifinals on July 17 at 6 p.m. Philippine time.
