Creamline Kick Off 2026 PVL Invitational With Win Over Nxled

The Creamline Cool Smashers started their 2026 PVL Invitational Conference campaign with a thrilling four-set win over the Nxled Chameleons, 25-20, 25-23, 23-25, 25-20, on Monday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Creamline took control early, winning the first two sets to move within one frame of closing out the match.

However, Nxled fought back in the third set and extended the game after taking the frame, but the Cool Smashers quickly regained their rhythm in the fourth.

Creamline pulled away in the closing stages of the fourth set to secure the victory and open its campaign with a 1-0 record.

Jaja Santiago-Minowa made an immediate impact with 19 points, highlighted by 17 attacks, one block, and one ace, while seamlessly connecting with Kyle Negrito, who tallied 31 excellent sets and six points.
