EST Cola Punches Ticket to 2026 PVL Invitational Finals

EST Cola secured the first Finals berth in the 2026 PVL Invitational Conference after defeating Ho Chi Minh City in straight sets, 25-19, 26-24, 26-24, on Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Thai side stayed composed in the crucial moments, holding off Ho Chi Minh City in the second and third sets to finish the preliminary round with a 4-1 record.

The victory also kept EST Cola on top of the standings and booked its place in the one-game championship match scheduled for Tuesday.

EST Cola entered the game coming off a 3-1 upset of Creamline Cool Smasher, where Papatchaya Phontham stole the spotlight with 27 points.

Ho Chi Minh City, meanwhile, ended its campaign with a 1-4 record.

The result officially sealed PLDT’s elimination from Finals contention before the defending champions faced Creamline in their final round-robin match.
