Dwyane Wade is Coming to Manila for the TADHANA: Make Your Own Way Manila Tour
Dwyane Wade is coming to Manila, with Filipino fans and young basketball players set to take part in a two-day visit celebrating the game and the journey behind Way of Wade.
The three-time NBA champion will headline the TADHANA: Make Your Own Way Manila Tour on October 13–14, 2026, presented by Li-Ning and Way of Wade in partnership with Toby’s Sports. The visit follows Way of Wade’s official arrival in the Philippines earlier this year.
“Basketball has always had an incredible ability to connect people, and I know how much the game means in the Philippines,” Wade said. “I’m excited to spend time with the fans in Manila, experience the basketball culture firsthand, and meet some of the young players who are building their own journeys in the game.”
A centerpiece of the visit will be the TADHANA Fan Fest at the BGC Amphitheater, bringing together basketball challenges, music, athletes, creators, and fan activities. The celebration will build toward Wade’s live appearance, giving Filipino supporters an opportunity to see the Hall of Famer in person.
Additional fan experiences will take place at the Toby’s Sports Flagship Store in BGC. Selected Way of Wade customers will be invited to the TADHANA Superfan Experience and a limited meet-and-greet with Wade.
The tour will also spotlight young Filipino talent through the Wade Academy Future Stars Clinic. Wade and basketball trainer Chris Johnson will train and mentor the Palarong Pambansa basketball champions in an exclusive session covering skills, preparation, mindset, and leadership.
The clinic will draw on lessons from Wade’s championship career, connecting his experience at the highest level with athletes beginning to build their own basketball journeys.
A 13-time NBA All-Star, Olympic gold medalist, and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, Wade began his partnership with Li-Ning in 2012. That collaboration created Way of Wade, a basketball brand shaped by his playing career, personal style, and “Make Your Own Way” philosophy. Wade later signed a lifetime deal with Li-Ning in 2018.
His Manila visit brings the player behind the brand closer to a Filipino basketball community that can now access Way of Wade products locally through Toby’s Sports.
