Anton Eusebio Signs with General Santos in MPBL

Fil-Canadian wing Anton Eusebio has signed with the General Santos Warriors in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League, according to his manager Andre Tan.

The move gives General Santos an athletic perimeter player who has experience in both high-level collegiate basketball and international 3×3 competition.

Eusebio stands around 6-foot-5 and plays primarily as a wing.

He first suited up for the University of the Philippines in the UAAP before transferring to De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde, where he became part of the Blazers’ rotation in the NCAA.

At Benilde, he showed flashes of his athleticism and scoring ability, particularly as a slasher who can finish in transition and knock down open perimeter shots.

He has also represented the Philippines in FIBA 3×3 tournaments, which helped develop his pace, decision-making, and ability to play in space.

His background suggests a player comfortable in different systems. In college, he adapted to structured half-court sets and team defense schemes.

In 3×3, he learned to create quickly off the dribble and defend multiple positions in short, high-intensity bursts. That mix could be useful in the MPBL, where rosters often combine veterans, former collegiate standouts, and emerging pros looking to establish themselves.

Eusebio, according to a source, plans to finish his education and earn his diploma as a St. Benilde student and asked Coach Charles Tiu for permission to depart.
