Bill Gravador Commits to the San Beda Red Lions
Bill Gravador is staying home.
The 6-foot-1 guard has committed to the San Beda Red Lions collegiate team, his representation, VP Global Management, confirmed.
The move keeps Gravador within the San Beda program after his time with the Red Cubs, where he built a reputation as a steady backcourt presence and timely shot-maker.
“I chose San Beda because it feels like home,” Gravador said. “I believe this is the best place for me to grow as a player and as a person, surrounded by a championship mentality and a culture that pushes me to be my best.”
Gravador has been one of the notable names in San Beda’s juniors program, contributing in NCAA Season 101 with several double-digit scoring games. He also saw action in other youth and showcase competitions, including the Junior MPBL, Asiabasket Youth League, and NBTC-related events, while also being linked to Filipino-British basketball circles through KAMPI Basketball UK.
Known as a guard who can space the floor and provide scoring bursts, Gravador gives San Beda another young piece to develop as the Red Lions continue building for the future.
His manager, Charlie Dy, said Gravador’s decision reflected loyalty to the program despite outside interest.
“I’m happy he stayed loyal to San Beda despite offers from other schools just like Yukien Andrada did,” Dy said.
The commitment marks the next step in Gravador’s rise from the Red Cubs to the Red Lions, giving him a chance to continue his growth in a familiar system and under a program long associated with winning.
