In their debut MPL Philippines season, Twisted Minds PH (TWPH) faced formidable challenges but showcased resilience and determination. Despite a rocky start, the team rallied in the latter half of the season, securing a playoff spot and proving their mettle in the competitive arena.

Early Struggles and Learning Curves
TWPH’s introduction to the MPL was marked by a series of tough matches. The team grappled with the league’s intensity, resulting in a 0-5 start. However, these early setbacks served as valuable learning experiences, laying the groundwork for future improvements.
Turning the Tide: First Victory and Momentum
The breakthrough came in Week 3 when TWPH secured their first win against AP BREN, a hard-fought 2-1 series that ended their losing streak. This victory ignited a newfound confidence within the team, leading to subsequent wins against TNC Pro Team and AP BREN in later weeks. These successes were pivotal in building momentum and team cohesion.
Securing the Playoffs
As the regular season progressed, Twisted Minds continued to refine their strategies and synergy. Key victories, including a decisive 2-0 sweep over AP BREN in Week 7, bolstered their standings. Despite facing strong opponents like ONIC PH in the final week, Twisted Minds accumulated points and improved performance secured them the sixth and final playoff spot.
