Grading the top 8 NBA free agency signings

We here at ALL-STAR Magazine graded the top free agent signings of the NBA so far!

Paul George (PHI) – B+

The inclusion of Paul George to the 76ers instantly make them title contenders barring any major injuries late into the season.

Klay Thompson (DAL) – B+

Klay got the contract that he wanted, and the Mavericks get their main catch in this free agency craze. The only reason this is not a grade of “A” is because of Klay’s injury concerns.

Chris Paul (SAS) – A+

The man known as CP3 will be key to developing the young guards of San Antonio and of course, make sure Victor Wembanyama’s life a bit easier.

James Harden (LAC) – B+

The departure of Paul George will reinvigorate Harden into the offensive maestro that he was, back with a touch more wisdom this time around with the Clippers.

Isaiah Hartenstein (OKC) – B+

The Thunder get a proven big man in Hartenstein as he dukes it out in the wild, wild west!

Tobias Harris (DET) – C+

Toby continues to get the bag every time free agency arrives but this time, he will be a mentor for the budding young core of the Detroit Pistons.

Kyle Anderson (GSW) – B

The Warriors get a piece that adds some versatility to their bench but overall still does not make them a contender in the West.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (ORL) – B

• Having won a championship with Denver, it’s now time for KCP to do some side quests of his own. He will be one of the veterans that will help shape the future of the Magic.
