Foot Locker Opens A Two-Story Space in U.P. Town Center

Foot Locker officially opened its U.P. Town Center (UPTC) branch last Friday, November 15, 2024, inviting Metro Manila’s flourishing sneaker and sporting community. The space (previously occupied by Timezone) boasts a curated selection from its 17 brands, including Nike, adidas, PUMA, Lacoste, and On.

Hosted by former UAAP courtside reporter Aiyana Perlas, a vibrant atmosphere greeted the private opening, courtesy of DJs Inna Gita and Doms Badwolf. Attendees were given a chance to win pairs and prizes from partners, New Balance, Vans, and Crep Protect—a Foot Locker opening tradition, along with early access to pairs on the shelves.

What differentiates Foot Locker UPTC is its 730 sqm two-story interior, accompanied by a towering basketball arcade beneath the store’s escalator (unlike its Pop-a-Shot-like installation accessible in other branches). Breaking ground in another northern location in the metro, it prides itself on its variety of selections across its lifestyle and sports tenets, embracing the evergreen demand for apparel, footwear, and accessories.

“Foot Locker U.P. Town Center is our first 2-story store in the country,” Foot Locker Philippines’ Marketing Manager, Seph Manlapaz, tells ALL-STAR Magazine.”

“Being the heartbeat of our business, our Stripers are definitely excited to cater to the young sneakerheads in this area,” he added.
