Kevin Quiambao has forgone his final playing year for the De La Salle University (DLSU) Green Archers, taking a daring step to Goyang, South Korea for professional ball. The back-to-back UAAP Most Valuable Player awardee continues pursuing his NBA dreams with the Three-Stripes by his side, extending his tenure with Adidas.

According to VP Global Management, the 23-year-old cager signed a contract extension last Friday, January 17, 2025, designating Quiambao as one of the German multinational company’s Filipino ambassadors. Throughout the newest Goyang Sono Skygunner’s three-year tenure at the collegiate level, he suited up in several of the brand’s premier silhouettes, including James Harden’s Vol. 7, Harden Vol. 8, and Anthony Edwards’ AE 1 models.

During the finale of Season 87, the partnership between Quiambao and Adidas saw the DLSU frontman suit up in a player-exclusive Adidas Adizero Select 3.0, in collaboration with Filipino graphic artist and toy designer Quiccs. As an advocate for bold colorways, the Quiambao-inspired silhouette features a primarily pink upper with white hints along the panels, outsole, and co-branding slated on the rear.

Adidas has yet to release a statement regarding Quiambao’s extension.
