Celebrities Hit the Pickleball Court as PLDT Home Life and mWell Launch ₱399 Family Health Plan
Eruption, Nicole Cordoves, and other personalities joined an afternoon of friendly matches to launch the mWell Family Plan 399 for PLDT Home Fiber subscribers.
PLDT Home Life and mWell gathered celebrities, media, and PLDT Home Fiber customers for an afternoon of friendly pickleball matches.
Eric “Eruption” Tai, Nicole Cordoves, Cherry Pie Picache, and Nikki Valdez headlined the lineup. They were joined by Carlene Aguilar, Kier Legaspi, Marc Solis, Michael Flores, Maureen Larrazabal, Jeffrey Santos, Ynez Veneracion, John Vic Guzman, and Jojo Abellana.
The matches also served as the launch of the mWell Family Plan 399, a new health subscription from the two brands, and of their “Make Health Part of Your Plan” campaign.
Pickleball as a Push for Everyday Movement
The organizers picked pickleball because of its growing popularity in the country. It’s easy to pick up, social, and played by all ages, which makes it a natural fit for a campaign aimed at whole families.

The event’s message was that staying active is only one part of staying healthy. Regular checkups, good sleep, and mental well-being matter just as much, whether someone plays every weekend or is just getting back into moving.
What the mWell Family Plan 399 Covers
The mWell Family Plan 399 costs ₱399 a month and covers up to four family members. PLDT Home Fiber subscribers can charge it directly to their monthly PLDT bill.
mWell Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer Gary Dujali pointed to the price as the plan’s main draw.

“For less than the cost of a single face-to-face consultation, an entire family now has access and can stay protected all year round,” he said.
For active households, the plan’s tracking features stand out. The mWellness Score tracks steps, physical activity, inactivity, and sleep quality. The plan also comes with a free mWell Prestige Watch that pairs with the app to monitor heart rate, steps, and sleep.
The plan also includes:
- Unlimited on-demand teleconsultations with licensed general practitioners for up to four family members
- Unlimited access to certified mental health coaches, along with a Mind Health Score for tracking emotional well-being
- The mWell Fam Dashboard, where families can monitor the health metrics of all covered members in one place
- An annual, replenishable ₱20,000 Personal Accident Insurance for the primary subscriber
“By bringing doctor consultations, mind health support, and the mWell Fam Dashboard together in the mWell app, we help families understand how their loved ones are doing, spot changes in their wellness, and seek timely medical advice,” said Chaye Cabal-Revilla, President and CEO of mWell.

The plan doesn’t replace emergency hospital care. Its purpose is to make everyday medical advice easier to get, without a clinic trip or a consultation fee.
Making Health Part of the Routine
The launch comes as many families put off checkups to save money. According to the Department of Health and industry reports, 44.7% of healthcare spending in the Philippines comes directly out of pocket.

“In times like these, we cannot afford to wait for illness to strike before paying attention to our health, and possibly make things worse. That’s why good health has to start at home,” said Evert Chris Miranda, PLDT Home Vice President and Head of Home Digital Services.
The mWell Family Plan 399 falls under PLDT Home Life, which has already added entertainment, home security, and smart living to PLDT Home’s services. Health and wellness is the latest addition.
