Our Favorite Sneakers from the 2026 NBA Summer League

The NBA Summer League has been a great avenue for young and upcoming stars to fulfill their hoop dreams throughout the last few decades.

This pocket tournament was created for draftees to offer an early glimpse of what they can do on the hardwood. Weeks after shaking NBA Commissioner Adam Silver’s hand at the NBA Draft, some of these newcomers prove that they are ready for the big league.

It has also helped free agents, G-League standouts, or international players who want to prove that they belong in the NBA and compete against tougher competition to earn a roster spot or an NBA contract.

In addition to showcasing their talents, the players also catch attention by unveiling futuristic silhouettes packing heat in the tournament.

Here are some of the hottest sneakers that we spotted in the 2026 NBA Summer League:

Nike Basketball’s newest futuristic silhouette was introduced by one of the brand’s rising stars, AJ Dybantsa, during a Wizards team workout.

While rocking the unreleased model, the 2026 NBA first overall draft pick scored 27 points in his summer league debut. The sneaker is now officially dubbed the Nike GT Flight after its potential entries, GT Uptempo and GT Force.

It features a low-cut design with a blend of molded exterior and bootie-style construction for lockdown support. His PE logo is also spotted in the heel. Official launch will be on February 4, 2027 for 180$ (PHP 11,095.74). 

Warriors small forward Yaxel Lendeborg has brought out a variety of retros, but what stands out most are the Gamma Blue AJ11s. Debuted in 2013, the iconic colorway returned in December 2025. The re-release of the ‘Gamma Blue’ gives a new generation of sneakerheads a chance to celebrate the history and the memories of the originals.

The bold design comes with a glossy patent leather mudguard that wraps around the sleek black ballistic mesh upper with Gamma Blue hits on the Jumpman logo and yellow-toned accents on the tongue and heel branding. The silhouette also features a smooth black midsole and icy translucent outsole that creates a strong contrast. 

adidas Basketball officially introduced the BB.01, a 3D-printed model engineered by the revolutionary Project: R. A. P. (Radical Athlete Perception) additive manufacturing platform. 

Featuring a groundbreaking 3D-printed lattice and an advanced mesh, it wraps around the foot, delivering a futuristic feel for enhanced cuts and stops on the court.

The sneaker made its first in-game appearance from the cardinal-turned-net guard, Mikel Brown Jr while pouring a 20-piece in his Summer League debut in Las Vegas.

Here’s what the Brooklyn Nets rookie had to say about wearing the BB.01 shoe: “They’re a great fit. They’re lighter than they look. They feel like a sock. The grip is great. I felt great in them. They felt great on my feet today.”

The shoe costs 250$ (PHP 15,426.50) and will be a limited release with only 169 pairs available to the public at 3 different stores: 50 in Las Vegas, 89 pairs online, and 30 pairs in Greater China.

New Balance has developed an impressive reputation within the basketball space, from superstars like Kawhi Leonard and Tyrese Maxey to signing on-the-rise standouts including reigning NBA Rookie of the Year Cooper Flagg to their roster.

The brand has unleashed its new low-top option in its basketball line, the P350. According to the Boston-based footwear company, the silhouette is the latest evolution of its low-top Hesi Low model. The sneaker first caught notice when it was brought out by Chicago Bulls rookie forward Caleb Wilson’s Summer League debut, erupting for a 35-point performance (second most in a Las Vegas debut) against the Memphis Grizzlies.

This modern performance model is built for speed and explosive power. One of the prior features is the FuelCell cushioning midsole, a responsive foam engineered for quicker movements. A lightweight and breathable mesh upper delivering improved airflow and reduced bulk, and a heel structure offering support and stability during hard cuts are also spotted.

To finish the details, the rubber outsole provides a multi-directional traction pattern designed for rapid changes of direction. 

Caitlin Clark continues to help maintain the relevance of the Kobe Protro line by releasing Player Exclusives for the WNBA superstar such as the “Rookie of the Year” and the “Coconut Milk and Bright Spruce”.

Phoenix Suns rookie forward Koa Peat rocked the colorway against the Detroit Pistons. The design pays homage to her love of classic board games with Scrabble-related elements for this exclusive. The silhouette sports a Coconut Milk synthetic leather upper with Bright Spruce shade on the lace panel, toe structure, and Swoosh logos.

Red accents in the tongue and a white Kobe sheath logo are also spotted in the colorway. Key performance specs include Nike FlyWire, a flexible Zoom Air Unit underfoot, and a traction pattern in the rubber outsole.
