November 9, Saturday, 8:30 AM: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden State Warriors
There’s been a lot of history between these two organizations over the past 10 years. Since LeBron “The King” James’ departure, the Cavaliers have been working to find their own identity beyond his generational talent.
With the arrival of Donovan “Spida” Mitchell, he has been superb on the offensive end, while Darius Garland orchestrates the Cavaliers’ offense. Questions remain about the combination of Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen; however, these twin towers have proven many doubters wrong, entering this season with a strong 9-0 record. Up next, they’ll face another hot team and rival, the Golden State Warriors, on their home court.
Cleveland is 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games.
Cleveland is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games at home.
Denzeal’s pick: Cleveland -4
November 9, Saturday, 8:30 AM: Dallas Mavericks vs. Phoenix Suns
A star-studded, heavyweight Western Conference showdown is set between the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns.
The Suns are one of the hottest teams in the league right now, having won six in a row. The duo of Durant and Booker looks unstoppable in crunch time. The addition of rookie Ryan Dunn and point guard Tyus Jones has made the Suns look like legitimate contenders in the Western Conference.
The Mavericks, on the other hand, seem to still be finding their groove with the new additions they made in the offseason.
With the way the Suns are playing and closing games this season – I love the Suns tomorrow.
Phoenix is 6-0 SU in their last 6 games.
Sanjay’s pick: Phoenix +3
