Andrada and Madrigal Declare for 2025 PBA Draft

Two prospects have officially declared for the 2025 PBA Rookie Draft: Yukien Andrada and AJ Madrigal. Their agent, Charlie Dy of VP Global Management, confirmed both players’ applications.

Andrada, a 6-foot-5 forward, made his mark at San Beda University in the NCAA. He built a reputation as a reliable stretch big, capable of knocking down outside shots and defending multiple positions. In the AsiaBasket 2025 International Invitational, he was named Player of the Game twice and had a standout 22-point performance against Lakas California. He will finish out this season with San Beda and join the PBA after the NCAA.

AJ Madrigal, a 6-foot-3 wing, comes into the draft following his stint in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL), where he suited up for the Iloilo United Royals. Known for his energy, perimeter defense, and outside shooting, Madrigal has been a consistent presence in the semi-pro circuit. He recently played in a close contest against the Sarangani Marlins, where he continued to show his readiness for the next level.

With both players confirmed for the upcoming draft, they now join the pool of young talent vying for a spot in the PBA. Their entry adds further depth and potential to a class that’s expected to be highly competitive.
