Coach Wolf Speaks Out On Why TNC Keeps Losing
But Coach Panda speaks highly of the former caster-analyst.
Things are not looking good for Caisam “Wolf” Nopueto’s coaching stint for TNC Pro Team in MPL Philippines Season 14 as the Phoenixes suffered another painful loss on Day 2 of the second week of the season as they faced RSG.
“I think the main reason why we lost in this game is the lack of decisiveness among our players. I think that’s it,” Coach Wolf told ALL-STAR.
ALL-STAR asked Coach Wolf why, despite having no shortage of talent among the players and coaches, the team keeps losing.
“May mga times na nakikita namin na yung lack of experience ay nakikita tapos naaabuse iyon ng mga teams like what Team Liquid did to us. I would put it under our lack of tournament experience and shortage of time playing together,” said Coach Wolf.
(“There are times when we notice our lack of experience, and our opponents take advantage of that like what Team Liquid did to us.”)
According to Coach Wolf, the team is still trying to improve the bond and chemistry among players, which plays a big factor in how games are won.
Meanwhile, Coach Panda still commended Coach Wolf, saying he has a lot of respect for the former caster-analyst of MPL Philippines.
“Real talk lang, it’s always mahirap to handle a team that is bago. Pero dahil it’s Wolf, I really strongly believe that they will continue to have a good result.”
(“Just real talk. It’s always difficult to handle a new team. But becuase it’s Wolf, I really strongly believe they will continue to have a good result.”)
RSG swept TNC 2-0 on Day 1 of Week 2 in MPL Philippines Season 14, sending the winless Phoenixes to the bottom of the week’s standing with a 0-6 win-loss ratio.
