The Fil-Aussie Spencer last played for UP in UAAP Season 85. In the Philippine college basketball scene he earned the reputation of being a clutch performer and defensive anchor for a contending Fighting Maroons squad which needed his late-game heroics to secure their first men’s basketball title in 37 years during Season 84.
Spencer, who is represented by Nadine Jamal and Yuki Schafer, played for the Philippines’ U19 national team for the World Cup in 2019. His resume also includes stints in the NBL, particularly with the Dandenong Rangers.
He signed a one-year deal with Earthfriends Tokyo Z, the former B. League club of his UP teammate Juan Gomez De Liaño.
