Joshua Yerro converts game winner, leads Adamson past NU

The Adamson Soaring Falcons needed a hero. Joshua Yerro delivered.
With just 0.3 seconds left on the game clock in their close encounter against the NU Bulldogs, Adamson’s coaching staff drew up an alley-oop play out of bounds for his athletic wingman.

Yerro was able to catch the ball and release it in time, allowing the leather to go through the net and improve his team’s record to 3-2 in UAAP Season 87.
After the game, Yerro mentioned the play was diagrammed by Falcons assistant coach Gilbert Lao.
NU previously tied the ball game thanks to a drive and score by Ian Manansala, who converted a runner.
The Bulldogs dropped to 1-4 in the league standings.
