PVL: PLDT Nearly Decided Not to Show Up at Bronze Match, Says Kath Arado
The PLDT High Speed Hitters almost decided to not show up to their game today against Cignal, given the incident between them and the Akari Chargers in their previous game last Saturday. Having an emotional ending and their frustrations on point, every one of them came to a conclusion to just not go on their battle for the bronze medal.
Actually agree lahat, agree talaga lahat,” said PLDT High Speed Hitters captain Kath Arado.
Nevertheless, the High Speed Hitters ultimately decided to show up. With an open mind, Arado, decided to fight. She says she did not want them to look defeated and that she understands how her teammates feel about the entire situation.
It was indeed hard for them to process that the results won’t be changed or adjusted even if they filed a petition for it. They showed up for themselves and their management, to fight still for their team.
“Sobrang manhid na namin kanina. I mean emotionally wala nang heartbreak na mas mafefeel namin sa nangyari samin last time.”
After finding out that they would be part of the final four, they decided to not push through with playing for the invitationals. Admitting that they cannot do it since there won’t be any days to rest if they do push through with it.
“Hindi, fixed na talaga siya. Before pa nung laban namin sa Akari.
After their heartbreaking loss to Cignal, the PLDT High Speed Hitters are set to take a holiday outside of Manila.
