Another De La Salle Green Archer is moving across the street to become a CSB Blazer.
Outstanding shooter Matthew Jucom, a proud product of Don Bosco-Dumaguete, is set to join Coach Charles Tiu’s squad in the NCAA, he confirmed to ALL-STAR Magazine.
The 6-foot-2 guard will undergo one year of residency before beginning his first of five playing years of eligibility in the NCAA in Season 101 (2025).
“Kinausap ako ni Coach Topex [Robinson] na masasayang lang daw taon ko dito sa La Salle kasi madaming players,” Jucom shared about his conversation with La Salle’s head coach which commenced his transfer process to CSB.

Jucom averaged 22 points and 4 boards a contest in the 2023 NBTC tournament – including a 34-point outburst against a USA-based team – and earned a spot in the Mythical Five team of the second division.
“He’s a good shooter and a solid guard. Obviously, he would have to compete with a lot of our guys, but seems like he’s a good system player. And he’s so young. He’s only 19-years-old, so there’s lots of time,” Blazers head coach Charles Tiu said about Jucom.
He saw action for DLSU in a handful of offseason tournament games, displaying his long-range shooting potential.
