NAVI PH Advances to MWI 2026 Knockout Stage After Sweeping Gen.G

NAVI PH punched its ticket to the 2026 MLBB Women’s Invitational (MWI) Knockout Stage after eliminating Gen.G Esports, 2-0, in the Group B Lower Bracket Semifinals at the Esports World Cup (EWC) in Paris, France.

The victory served as redemption for the Filipina squad, which eliminated the same team that knocked them out of MWI 2025.

In Game 1, NAVI PH took control early, building a 7-1 kill lead while securing two turtle objectives. However, during a 9-minute mark mid-lane clash, Gen.G focused on eliminating Gwyneth “Ayanami” Diagon’s Freya, but NAVI PH quickly responded with a 2-for-1 trade.

During a 13-minute bottom lane inhibitor siege, Lhoureain “Rianne” Alcaraz unleashed a barrage of bullets with Granger, securing a game-winning Maniac that turned the tide against Gen.G.

Rianne led NAVI PH to a 1-0 matchpoint against Gen.G after racking up the scoreboard with stellar 8-0-5 KDA. 

NAVI PH carried its momentum into Game 2, securing the first turtle objective while scoring a clean 2-for-0 trade against Gen.G.

During the 5-minute turtle fight, NAVI remained composed, refusing to concede any deaths while building a 6-0 kill lead, highlighted by Not Ayanami’s double kill on Alice.

A 13-minute midlane run down was all NAVI needed to finish the job, with Mery “Meraay” Vivero’s Gloo zoning out Gen.G’s defenders. Left alone to protect the base, Vebi “Ruii” Febrian’s Suyou could do little as NAVI secured the 2-0 sweep.

NAVI PH’s next opponent in the MWI Knockout Stage Quarterfinals is Malaysia’s Team Rey Young.
