Philadelphia Eagles win Super Bowl LIX, 40-22
The Philadelphia Eagles dominated the back-to-back defending champion Kansas City Chiefs, 40-22, in Super Bowl LIX, capping off a thrilling season.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts had an impressive performance, completing 17 of 22 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns passing and one touchdown rushing.
Within the first half, the Eagles had a huge 24-0 lead with explosive offense and even greater defense. The Nick Sirianni-coached team wins the game by an 18-point lead, celebrating the win with ‘happy tears’.
This is the Philadelphia Eagles’ second Super Bowl win out of their five appearances.
