TNC Sounds Like a Dangerous Team in Season 17
TNC Pro Team is working harder than ever. And they want to open week 1 with a bang.
When BennyQt arrived at TNC Pro Team, the organization was not exactly feared. Before Season 15, TNC finished bottom in the past five seasons. Expectations were low.
But things slowly began to change. In Season 15, the team finally broke out of the cellar and showed signs of life. By Season 16, that progress became real momentum, with TNC finishing top three and proving they could compete with the league’s contenders.
A player with championship pedigree like BennyQt could have entered with the mindset of carrying the team.
But BennyQt saw things differently.

“Actually, hindi yung tutulungan ko silang manalo,” he said.
That distinction—winning with a team instead of winning for a team—matters more than it sounds.
Watching his teammates grind every day did something to his own competitive instinct.
“That time, ang naging motivation ko, hindi ako magpapatalo,” he said.
“Kung gusto nilang manalo, dapat mas gusto kong manalo.”
TNC Is Working Harder Than Ever During Off-Season

If history proves anything, it’s that those who put in the work reap the rewards. Take Aurora during M7: they trained 12 hours a day, and Edward later admitted his back ached from sitting on a hotel chair for hours on end.
That same relentless hunger is now showing in TNC.
On paper, last season looked like a success for TNC. The team finished in the top three and proved it could compete with the best.
But inside the team, the memory of the final week lingers.
During Week 8 of the regular season, the standings were still so tight that several teams—including TNC—were fighting just to secure a playoff spot.
It reminded TNC that nothing in the MPL Philippines comes easily.
So the approach to Season 17 season has already changed.
Every Match Matters
“Totoo iyon,” he said when asked if every match matters.
And if the trajectory follows its path from Season 15 and Season 16, TNC Pro Team could see itself in the grand finals of MPL PH Season 17.
