KUKUYS reverse sweeps Execration to bag 2026 Predator League PH Title

In true Pinoy doto fashion, Kukuys lose 2 straight games then win 3 straight to claim the Predator League Philippine Qualifiers title.
Predator League Philippines: Like the Good Ole’ Days
A big crowd across three levels of the SM North EDSA Annex gathered as some of the brightest DOTA 2 athletes duked it out in a best of 5 series. The winner gets to be the champion of the Predator League Philippine Qualifiers. They get bragging rights too, and the right to talk a lot of smack–which they did.
The event was successful because it had everything a DOTA 2 fan wants–a rowdy, noisy crowd, crazy drafts, crazier plays, good shoutcasting, and Lon Marcelo on the front row. The entrance was also free.
And then there are the players.
Solap with the beef. BossKu. DJ from the high ground. Chief Armel. Bob with a 3-0 prediction. Shanks. No Gabbi, but no problem–lots of all-star talent on the stage, which was spruced-up with the latest Predator gear.
WTF are these hero picks?!
The series was characterized by insane picks, which the crowd loved.
Game 1 – A series with Kuku is not complete without a venomancer pick–famously known and jeered as the “Kukumancer.” Expectedly, the midlaner venomancer lost against the beefy Slardar. Execration executes Kukuys and draws first blood.
Game 2 – Kukuys with another WTF pick–a position one Undying. Of course it had nothing on the Palos Troll Warlord, which arguably had the series’ most iconic play: a solo raid-boss self-deleting fountain dive that led to zero kills. Execration wins 2 straight games.
Game 3 – Execration drafted a tanky line-up with a Dragon Knight, a Timbersaw, and a Dazzle for his Shallow Grave. It got countered by an Ursa from Kukuys, and Execration cores were too aggressive at critical times. Kukuys win their first game of the match.
Game 4 – Chief Armel’s Storm Spirit just owned the entire game, which allowed Kukuys to do a cheesy meme draft–a position one Batrider who is usually a utility hero. Execration was on a timer yet was not able to capitalize early, so Kukuys win their second straight.
Game 5 – The longest match of the series which lasted for more than an hour. DJ’s Skywrath Mage plays were just brilliantly executed. Execration’s Bob got to play his Puck mid, but to no avail. Kukuys win 3-2 and completes the reverse-sweep.
Predator League: India
Kukuys and Execration are going to India for the Asia Pacific Predator League 2026 Grand Finals. They will be joined by Team Nemesis, a PH team with Akashi and Raven. Teams from Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, and host country India are expected to compete in the Grand Finals.
