Daily Fantasy Week 9: Wemby Stuns Thunder

The Alien returns, the Spurs are uber strong, and Wemby stuns Thunder.

The San Antonio Spurs just beat the unbeatable Oklahoma City Thunder. The return of Victor Wembanyama coincided with the NBA Cup semifinal match.

Match 1: The San Antonio Spurs vs The New York Knicks

This is the final NBA Cup match–the winner will be the NBA Cup champion. The players of the winning team will get half a million dollars, so expect an intense match with an electric, playoff-like atmosphere. Victor Wembanyama will suit up and the Spurs will be at their full strength, and New York will be too. Both these teams are contenders for this season, and there is a chance that they may play against each other in the NBA finals if everything goes right (i.e. if the Spurs keep winning against the Thunder, and the Knicks take the power vacuum in the Eastern conference)

Suggested Daily Fantasy lineup:

Captain: Victor Wembanyama

Vice Captain: Jalen Brunson

Key picks: Karl Anthony Towns, D’Aaron Fox, Stephon Castle, Devin Vassell, MIkal Bridges

Match 2: The Los Angeles Clippers vs the Oklahoma City Thunder

The Clippers are 13th in the Western conference at the moment, and they are expected to be cellar dwellers this season. The Thunder could rest their starting 5 and they would still win (that’s how horrible the Clippers are, and how stacked the Thunder are). `

Suggested Daily Fantasy lineup:

Captain: Shai Gilgeous Alexander

Vice Captain: James Harden

Key picks: Ivica Zubac, Chet Holmgren, Jalen WIlliams, Luguentz Dort, Alex Caruso

Match 3: The Miami Heat vs the Boston Celtics

After winning 6 straight games, the Boston Celtics lost two in a row and have slid down to 4th place. Will they get their groove back against a struggling Miami team that has lost 5 games in a row? Jayson Tatum is still not expected to play, but Boston is expected to win this one.

Suggested Daily Fantasy lineup:

Captain: Jaylen Brown

Vice Captain: Norman Powell

Key picks: Derrick White, Payton Pritchard, Bam Adebayo, Andrew Wiggins
