Teddyqt on his MPL Debut: ‘Malaking Tulong Ang SIBOL’
For Teddyqt, the path to professional esports began quietly, in a way that only gamers understand: with a phone in hand and a game that offered a world to explore.
“Iyon lang po,” he says, recalling the early days before the stage lights and national qualifiers. Before Team Liquid, before SIBOL, before anyone outside of local tournaments knew his name, Teddyqt was just a typical high school student. He studied STEM in senior high at PUP, dreamed of coding and computer engineering, and played online games in his spare time.
His first exposure to Mobile Legends came during the pandemic.

Doon nagsimula ang paglalaro ng ML,” he recalls.
There was no introduction from friends—he discovered the game himself, noticing classmates already playing it. His familiarity with MOBAs made the transition natural.
Family support, at first, was hesitant. His father is a PLDT technician, his mother a housewife and caregiver, and he has an older sister.
Teddyqt Treated His Family to Dinner on His First Win

Teddyqt’s early competitive experience came through amateur tournaments and his first team, Good Fellas under Gamer Pact.
The top prize was P150,000, and his share, P30,000, went straight to treating his family.
His dedication and work ethic carried him forward.
Coaches have also noticed his versatility.
“Masaya din po kasi may nakaka-appreciate sa akin na MPL coaches,” he says about Coach Sn4p’s praise for his adaptability.
SIBOL Boosted Teddyqt’s Chances at MPL
Being scouted by Team Liquid for SIBOL is both validation and opportunity.
His performance at SIBOL not only earned recognition but also helped him secure promotion from the MDL to the MPL.
For Teddyqt, the motivation has always been simple: earn the trust of his teammates and give his best on the stage.
Now, as he enters the MPL, he carries that same focus and commitment, ready to prove that his quiet start was only the beginning.
