Michele Ortolani Claims First Professional Title at 2026 BingoPlus Philippine ADT Open
Italy’s Michele Ortolani finally broke through for his first professional victory, capturing the 2026 BingoPlus Philippine Asian Development Tour Open at Luisita Golf and Country Club on Saturday.
The 29-year-old finished at 16-under-par to edge Chinese Taipei’s Su-Ching Hung (15-under) and Argentina’s Franco Scorzato (14-under) in the tournament co-sanctioned by the Asian Development Tour.

After turning in an up-and-down round that included a bogey on the seventh hole, Ortolani surged down the stretch with birdies on Nos. 10, 12, and 16 to secure the biggest win of his career.
The victory was particularly significant for the Italian, who earned his first professional title after nearly a decade on tour.

“It’s been an unforgettable week,” Ortolani said after the win. “Everything has been a group effort. I would like to thank everybody at home, especially my family.”
Ramos Leads Filipino Contingent

While Ortolani took home the trophy, Sean Ramos emerged as the top Filipino performer of the tournament.
Ramos finished at 11-under-par, good for a share of fifth place, earning a spot in the 2026 Philippine Open by the International Series scheduled for November.
The Filipino golfer showed flashes of brilliance throughout the week but admitted consistency remained a challenge.
“I was feeling confident from the start, but I got cold, then hot again, then cold again,” Ramos said. “Hopefully next time I can stay consistent throughout the round.”

Mondilla Also Secures Philippine Open Spot
Joining Ramos in November’s Philippine Open is Luisita course record holder Clyde Mondilla.
Mondilla fired a final-round 68 to finish at eight-under-par and secure one of the available spots despite ending the week in a share of 11th place.
Veteran Angelo Que finished higher on the leaderboard at 10-under-par, but with an existing exemption already secured, the qualification opportunity passed to Mondilla.
The result gives the Philippines two additional representatives in one of the country’s premier golf events later this year.
Successful Return of the ADT to the Philippines
The tournament marked a significant stop for the Asian Development Tour in the Philippines, featuring a USD 100,000 prize purse and a strong international field.

ADT General Manager Ken Kudo praised the event and expressed optimism about future collaborations in the country following a successful week at Luisita.
“Yes, absolutely. Bring it on,” Kudo said when asked about the possibility of future partnerships and tournaments in the Philippines.
