Undoubtedly, Melo is now on a playoff team. How far can he go?
Melo, with Anthony Edwards, are perhaps the most exciting backcourt in the NBA next season. He takes a lot of pressure off Antman to make plays and look for shots, and he can also play a decent catch-and-shoot game. Going small-ball with last playoff’s breakout star Ayo Dosunmu and wing Jaden McDaniels is perhaps the best course right now in the absence of a true power forward alongside Rudy Gobert.
If LaMelo Ball can stay healthy and play better defense, things could be exciting for the Timberwolves. He has struggled to stay healthy in the past years, but the Wolves are hoping that this move pays off.
