Former UP Maroon Denzil Walker joins Letran

Former UP Fighting Maroon and UAAP champion Denzil Walker has committed to join the Letran Knights, he confirmed to me on Sunday, April 13.

Walker will do a year of residency in 2025 then begin playing as a Knight in the NCAA in Season 102. He will have two years of eligibility.

“Because Coach Allen showed the most genuine interest from the moment I announced I was transferring, & told me the plans he has for me & the team it was just something I couldn’t say no to,” he said. “And I felt like at my try out, the players were competitive but still super welcoming to me & I had automatic chemistry with the players.”

Walker also considered San Beda, Mapua, JRU, and CSB.
