For seasons, Blacklist International and ECHO—now Team Liquid—stood on opposite ends of an intense rivalry, clashing in high-stakes battles across Seasons 11, 12, and 13. With Oheb’s move to Team Liquid, the narrative has shifted from competition to collaboration. But how did the former foes transition into allies?

KarlTzy on Oheb’s Integration into Team Liquid

When Oheb joined Team Liquid for tryouts, the chemistry was immediate. KarlTzy, the team’s star jungler, recalled the seamless transition:

“Pagka tryout po ni Oheb sa amin, nag-click po yung team. Madalas po kasi kapag may tryouts, may jitters pa. Pero pagpasok ni Oheb sa amin, parang matagal na namin siyang kakampi. So feeling ko siya talaga dapat.”

With Oheb now a key figure in Team Liquid’s roster, comparisons between him and BennyQt, the team’s former gold laner, were inevitable. When asked about the difference between the two, KarlTzy was diplomatic but pointed out what sets Oheb apart:

“Para sa akin lang po, mas fit yung play style ni Oheb na sumasama sa mga clash. Ngayon sa meta, mas nauuna yung mga marksman pumasok. So feel ko iyon ang lamang ni Oheb.”

Oheb on Playing for His Former Rivals

Oheb’s move to Team Liquid was a significant shift from being a fierce competitor to being an integral part of the team. But he felt an instant connection with his new teammates.

“Noong pagkapasok ko po sa Team Liquid, syempre former rival team namin ito, hindi ko naramdaman na may ganoon kaming past. Nag-click kami, parang matagal ko na silang kalaro dati. Ganoon ang naramdaman ko.”
