As NBA Playoffs unfold, ArenaPlus’ ₱100M MVP Bracket puts fan predictions to the test
As the NBA Playoffs heat up, Filipino fans are getting more than just high-stakes games — ArenaPlus’ ₱100 Million MVP Bracket gave fans a chance to turn their predictions into a big prize.
Launched last April 11, the free-to-play contest is inspired by the long-standing bracket prediction tradition in the United States, where fans forecast playoff outcomes as part of the postseason experience.
“So this playoffs we incorporated that idea into the Philippines,” ArenaPlus CEO Erick Su said in an interview.
“We give the players an opportunity to predict the playoffs for free and to win a big prize.”

The launch also comes alongside ArenaPlus’ partnership with the NBA, allowing the platform to deliver a more authentic and engaging experience for users.
“When you get to ArenaPlus, you can feel the real immerse experience with the game. Also, we can partner with the NBA to give a lot of merchs and the opportunity to get into exclusive events for the NBA,” Su said.
“It gives the fans more opportunity to be part of the NBA offering.”
In March, ArenaPlus rolled out a ₱1 billion prediction promo, challenging users to forecast the entire outcome of the playoffs, including the results of the series.
At the time, the focus shifted to a format that was easier to join.
“Now with the launch of the partnership with the NBA, we want to bring something simple and easier to participate.”

At the center of this initiative is the ₱100 Million MVP Bracket, a free-to-play contest where participants predicted the winners of all 15 NBA Playoffs matchups.
Each user was given two free entries, with no deposit or betting required.
Unlike traditional prediction challenges, participants don’t need a flawless bracket to win.
“You don’t have to be perfect,” Su explained.
“The only thing you need to win is you are the best bracket. You are the most accurate bracket.”
The participant with the highest number of correct predictions will take home the ₱100 million grand prize.

In case of a tie, timing becomes the deciding factor.
“If there are multiple people who have the same bracket, you need to be the earliest submission,” Su clarified. “And that’s how you get the P100 million.”
The contest ran from April 11 to 18, giving fans a limited window to submit their entries.
With the NBA Playoffs now underway, fans are watching closely to see how their brackets hold up, turning every game into a test of their picks.
ArenaPlus continues to build engagement around the playoffs through its All In Sa Arena podcast, which airs live daily at 9 PM on ArenaPlus’ Facebook and YouTube channels. Hosted by Boom Gonzalez and Apple David, the show features a rotating lineup of guests sharing insights and predictions on NBA Playoffs matchups.
For those who made their picks, the focus now shifts to seeing whose predictions come closest to reality — as every NBA Playoffs game now becomes a test of those choices.
