Harold Alarcon Relinquishes the Three-Stripes, Joins Nike
UP Fighting Maroon, Harold Alarcon joins Nike heading into his final playing year for the defending University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) champions. The 22-year-old recently severed ties with the Three-Stripes, dropping 33 points on 70.6 percent shooting in their final regular season contest in the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Reverse Grinch.”
Following their final second-round matchup against the UE Red Warriors in November 2024, he disclosed his sneaker endorsement status to ALL-STAR Magazine as a newly minted free agent. Three months later, Alarcon’s management, VP Global shared his acquisition as Nike’s newest member.

During UAAP 87, Alarcon equipped several of Adidas Basketball’s premier models but slowly transitioned to low-top Swoosh pairs during the latter portion. From the Nike Kobe 8 Protro “University Red” against their Taft rivals to securing his career high in the “Bright Crimson” Kobe 6 icons, he’ll surely be one to watch come Season 88 with his favorite heat displayed on-foot.
