Koji Buenaflor Signs Multi-Year Deal with adidas Philippines

UST Growling Tigers forward Koji Buenaflor has signed a multi-year endorsement deal with adidas Philippines, according to Diego Dario, sports marketing consultant for the brand.

The agreement marks a new step in Buenaflor’s young career as he continues to build his profile as one of UST’s promising prospects. A former Tiger Cub standout, Buenaflor moved up to the Growling Tigers after helping lead UST’s high school program to a UAAP boys’ basketball championship.

Details of the contract, including campaign plans, footwear arrangements, and possible brand activations, have yet to be disclosed.

The deal also signals a new chapter in Buenaflor’s off-court profile, following his previous association with Under Armour and participation in Stephen Curry’s basketball camp in Asia.

“Koji has so much upside in his game. Aside from being tall and athletic. He’s a hard worker and a student of the game, which are very important factors for development,” Dario said.

“Together with Bridge Sports Global and adidas, we want to help build his brand and continue to support him in his basketball journey.”
