Daily Fantasy Week 26: The NBA Play-In Tournament Matches

The last game of the 2025-2026 NBA Season has already been played, and the final four spots of the NBA Playoffs are up for grabs. The NBA Play-in tournament has begun.

Match 1: The Charlotte Hornets vs the Miami Heat (April 15, Wednesday, 7:30AM)

The Miami Heat is expected to win this game, but it will not be wise to count out the Charlotte Hornets. LaMelo and Knueppel are not really under a lot of pressure at this point, and a bunch of shooters confidently chucking treys is always a dangerous proposition. However, Miami will be better across a lot of things–roster, coaching, and experience.

Suggested Daily Fantasy lineup:

Captain: Bam Adebayo

Vice Captain: Norman Powell

Key picks: LaMelo Ball, Kon Knueppel, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kel’el Ware, Brandon Miller

Match 2: The Phoenix Suns vs the Portland Trailblazers (April 15, Wednesday, 10:00AM)

The Portland Trailblazers are younger and they are the more “balanced” team, but all it takes is one hot shooting night from Devin Booker and Jalen Green to turn things around. Deni Avdija is a tough match-up, and Portland has a bunch of savvy guys (Scoot, Jrue) who can keep up with the Suns backcourt (Allen, O’Neale, Green). Mark Williams will have a tough task against the Blazers frontcourt. The Suns could come out of this, if their shooters get streaky.

Suggested Daily Fantasy lineup:

Captain: Devin Booker

Vice Captain: Deni Avdija

Key picks: Scoot Henderson, Jrue Holiday, Toumani Camara, Ryan Dunn, Jalen Green

Match 3: The Philadelphia 76ers vs the Orlando Magic (April 16, Thursday, 7:30AM)

The Orlando Magic have to play well defensively behind the length of Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner if they want to contain Philly’s half-court offense. Paul George has been on a mini-resurgence, and the Sixers need him to be Playoff P again. Tyrese Maxey is still the main cog, and the Magic need to figure out how to play against him. Jalen Suggs will most likely get that assignment. Things could get interesting in this match-up.

Suggested Daily Fantasy lineup:

Captain: Paolo Banchero

Vice Captain: Tyrese Maxey

Key picks: Joel Embiid (if available), Jalen Suggs, Franz Wagner, VJ Edgecombe, Quentin Grimes, Paul George

Match 4: The Los Angeles Clippers vs the Golden State Warriors (April 16, Thursday, 10:00AM)

Nobody is expecting the Golden State Warriors to win this game, especially that Kawhi Leonard has been great recently. The Clippers went 6-4 to end the season, and they actually beat Steph and the Warriors in their final regular season game. But still, Steph Curry is a brilliant shooter, and the Warriors could get red hot from deep with all the gravity he draws. Porzingis remains a key cog in this contest, and he must find his range early if he wants to help Steph.

Suggested Daily Fantasy lineup:

Captain: Kawhi Leonard

Vice Captain: Steph Curry

Key picks: Benedict Mathurin, Kristaps Porzingis, Darius Garland, Brandin Podziemski, Charles Bassey, John Collins
