TITAN Unveils First-Ever Collaboration with Sabrina Ionescu
Slating her second signature silhouette with elements reminiscent of “Her Love of the Game,” the defending WNBA champion is a firm believer in “making space” whether it’s creating the best look for a shot, saving a seat for your sister, or inspiring the next women up, space becomes something shared, on-and-off the hardwood.
Inspired by a statement made by Ionescu in a Nike GT Cut advertisement (long before acquiring a signature line), she spoke on finding space through the game—the inspiration behind the design approach.
Conceived by Filipina visual artists Aila Torre, Lari Gazmen, and Alessah Papa, the Nike Sabrina 2 x TITAN sports a predominantly light bone upper, with purple, emerald, and blush tones—a nod to TITAN’s Show Her Love tournament. Touches of seafoam on its midsole accents and heel graphics tribute her New York legacy.
As long-standing collaborators, three key graphic elements capture Nike and TITAN’s evergreen partnership.
The Fire Spinner plant-inspired pink-to-yellow gradient Swoosh narrates Ionescu’s burning passion and clutch factor alongside the resilience of women’s basketball in the Philippines. The left insole features empty bleachers in an arena: “A poetic reminder of all the people who are not yet here, and all the space TITAN and Sabrina are making for them once they arrive.”
“Make Space” typography and the Sabrina-esque silhouette graphic on the heel tribute Tangaram puzzles and Bauhaus shapes, symbolizing a brighter future with each shape representing the collective efforts of the women’s community.
The Nike Sabrina 2 x TITAN (₱8,095.00) releases at TITAN and NBA Store Philippines on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in sizes Women’s US 5-16.5 (Men’s US 3.5-15).
