Tyrese Haliburton Signs with PUMA
PUMA Basketball has found its newest star, signing Tyrese Haliburton to a “massive” multi-year sneaker endorsement, Boardroom’s Nick DePaula reports.
From what seemed like a Swoosh-filled five-year career, the 24-year-old joins the German multinational corporation alongside Deandre Ayton, Kyle Kuzma, Scoot Henderson, and fellow 2020 Draft Class prospect LaMelo Ball. While details on his contract were not disclosed, he is expected to become “a future face of the company.”
(A future signature collection in the works? Only time will tell.)
News of his acquisition surfaced last weekend as the Indiana Pacers All-Star verified his commitment through a 30-second teaser featuring his father, John. According to Fieldhouse Files, he first debuted in a PUMA silhouette during his franchise’s FanJam 2024, equipping the PUMA All-Pro NITRO for the upcoming 2024-25 season—a favorite of Ayton, Kuzma, Schroder, and other top-tier cagers.
Joining the likes of the NBA’s premiere athletes, his signing marks a significant milestone for PUMA Hoops, fortifying their position as a frontrunner in the industry and empowering the next generation of hoopers.
“Since day one, we’ve always focused on the next generation of basketball at PUMA. Tyrese is not only defining his own generation but also is shaping the future of the game for many more to come,” Max Staiger, Global Head of Basketball at PUMA mentioned.
“We’re extremely grateful for the opportunity to partner with Tyrese to continue working on our disruptive next-gen approach to basketball,” he added.
