BREAKING: Rosa and Company Joins Aurora Gaming; Now In Same Org as VeeWise
Aurora Gaming, a Serbian esports organization, has announced the expansion of its Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) division with the formation of Aurora Türkiye. This new team comprises prominent Turkish players:
- Gold Lane: Şiyar “Sigibum” Akbulut
- Roam: Furkan “APEX47” Akbulut
- Mid Lane: Ahmet Taha “Rosa” Batır
- Jungle: Sidar “Tienzy” Menteşe
- Exp Lane: Mehmet Ibrahim “Lunar” Ilgun
- Coach: Sacit “badgalseph” Arslan
Notably, Ahmet Taha “Rosa” Batır is now in the same organization as his idols, Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario, both of whom are part of Aurora Gaming’s MLBB division. OhMyV33nus and Wise, celebrated for their achievements with Blacklist International, joined Aurora Gaming in July 2024, bringing their expertise and leadership to the team. Rosa, Badgalseph, and VeeWise have become good friends even before the acquisition, as seen on their social media posts.
Rosa’s team, formerly Fire Flux, proved to be dark horses in international MLBB esports, notably during the M5 World Championships when they shot to popularity. Fire Flux Esports achieved notable victories in the group stage, beating powerhouses from Southeast Asia. Fire Flux secured a 2-0 sweep against Malaysia’s Team SMG, demonstrating strategic prowess and early-game dominance. They also defeated the Filipino powerhouse, Blacklist International, with a 2-0 scoreline, emerging as the top seed in Group B. These victories propelled Rosa and comapny into the knockout stages of the tournament. They ultimately faced Deus Vult in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals but were defeated with a score of 1-3, leading to their elimination from the tournament.
Aurora Gaming’s entry into the MLBB scene has been marked by strategic acquisitions and a commitment to fostering talent across regions. The addition of the Turkish roster signifies the organization’s dedication to expanding its global footprint while maintaining strong ties with its existing teams.
