FCON Says It Can Snap PH Streak in M-Series, 50-50
Fresh from a victory over favorite Philippine team Aurora in the Swiss stages of the M6 World Championship, Falcons has found new confidence. Its Filipino Coach, Arrs, says it can end the PH dominance in the world championship by a 50-50 chance.
“Maybe 50-50, let’s see,” said Arrs when asked if Falcons can end the Philippine win streak.
The Falcons coach also reeled when they were labeled underdogs.
“Lahat naman dito M6, champions. So hindi pwedeng sabihing kami lang yung underdogs,” said Coach Arrs.
But not all regions are created equal, and the Philippines has the right to be called strongest: it has won 4 out of 5 M-Series world championships. The Filipino meta has been so potent, that all the regions in MLBB esports, including the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) from which Falcon Esports comes, have imported Filipino players and coaches. Falcon’s Coach Arrs is Filipino himself.
Nevertheless, winning over a Philippine team like Aurora gives anyone a confidence boost.
“Actually yes, super. Nakaka-add siya ng confidence,” said Coach Arrs.
Teams need to secure 3 wins in the Swiss stage in order to move forward to the knockout stages. Teams who lose 3 times in the Swiss stage will be eliminated.
