Hubilla Departs Mapua, Eyes Move to JRU
Standout NCAA men’s basketball player Chris Hubilla has left the Mapua Cardinals and will move to the JRU Heavy Bombers, sources told ALL-STAR Magazine.
The 6-foot-4 forward will undergo residency in 2025 then play his two remaining years of eligibility as a Heavy Bomber beginning Season 102.

He was instrumental in Mapua’s rise to the NCAA S100 title, averaging 12 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 2 steals in their sweep of the Blazers.
Sources said that with many of Mapua’s backers moving to JRU, that compelled Hubilla to make the move as well.
The 21-year-old is expected to play a prominent part in the rebuild of the Heavy Bombers.
