Inter-Collegiate Badminton Championships: Everything You Need to Know

The 3rd Inter-Collegiate Badminton Championships is happening on September 4 to 6 at the Centro Atletico Badminton Court in Quezon City. From participating schools to schedules of the matches, here’s everything you need to know about it. 

Participating Colleges and Universities

The following schools are sending their representatives to the 3rd Inter-Collegiate Badminton Championships in Quezon City: 

• San Beda University
• Ateneo de Manila University
• Rizal Technological Univeristy
• Lyceum of the Philippines University
• University of the Philippines
• San Sebastian College – Recoletos
• De La Salle College of St. Benilde
• Mapua University
• EARIST
• University of Makati
• Adamson University
• Polytechnic University of the Philippines

Prizes

The champion shall receive a grand prize of P50,000 cash, trophy, medals, and certificates. 

The first runner-up shall receive a prize of P20,000 cash, trophy, medals, and certificates. 

The second runner-up shall receive a prize of P10,000 cash trophy, medals, and certificates. 

Scoring and Format

The BWF scoring system of 1 to 21 points and best-of-three games shall be implemented inthe 3rd Inter-Collegiate Badminton Championships.

A single round-robin system per group shall be applied.
