IT’S OFFICIAL: Yawi Suits Up for TNC
Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera is now officially part of TNC Pro Team. The announcement came on November 28 on TNC’s official Facebook page.
Yawi is back in the Philippines after leaving ECHO in Season 12 for Aura Indonesia. Yawi has not seen action for a whole year, having been benched in Team Liquid Indonesia (formerly Aura) in Season 14. He has opted to go to TNC than represent Team Liquid’s 6th man in the ongoing M6 World Championship.
Will Yawi’s Presence Affect TNC’s Performance?
That remains to be seen, and star power is no guarantee of wins. The most crucial factor that could turn the tide in favor of TNC is building a team around Yawi. That means Yawi needs teammates who can quickly respond to his explosive highlights and super aggressive plays. Let’s not forget Yawi was the reason ECHO was labeled the House of Highlights.
So who are the players who should play alongside Yawi in TNC?
If things will go our way, we’d love to see TNC recruit some of Yawi’s former teammates: Jeymz, BennyQt, KurtTzy, and Zaida.
If what Benthings said is true, if TNC can afford Yawi, it can afford anyone. Now it has Yawi, it’s the chance to build the super team of its dreams.
