Serrano Departs CSB Blazers, Joins NU Bulldogs
Young basketball talent Edson Serrano is embarking on a new chapter in his career as he is set to transfer to the National University (NU) Bulldogs in the UAAP. According to Anthony Brodett of Phenom Sports Management, Serrano will serve a residency year in 2025 before becoming eligible to compete for two seasons starting with UAAP Season 89.
Previously, Serrano played for the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Blazers in the NCAA, where he was a reserve forward-center standing at 6’7″.
This move to NU signals a fresh opportunity for Serrano to make an impact in the highly competitive UAAP league. His residency year will allow him to acclimate to the team’s system and prepare for what promises to be a promising collegiate career under the guidance of head coach Jeff Napa, who’s known for developing big men.
This transfer marks a pivotal point in Edson’s development as he aims to leverage his NCAA experience and grow further with the Bulldogs.
NU fans and basketball pundits alike will be keen to watch how Serrano adjusts and performs in the UAAP, where his size and skillset could make him a valuable asset for NU in the coming seasons.
